The Educational Program

The administrators and teachers of Santa Rosa Christian School are committed to setting a standard of educational excellence and opportunity for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.  Students are given the foundations for life-long learning with an emphasis on phonics for reading and writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Elementary students also develop an appreciation for art and music and enjoy structured competitive play in physical education.

As students progress to the junior and senior high school, they continue to build on the early foundations with a wide range of college preparatory classes including English, higher-level mathematics, laboratory sciences, in-depth history, and foreign language.  Students are challenged to think critically and to become active evaluators of their education.  The core academics are supplemented with fine arts, a competitive athletic program, and other electives.

The on-going commitment of Santa Rosa Christian School is to provide a strong comprehensive educational program that will prepare students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the college or career of their choice.
