School-Wide Learning Results
Students at Santa Rosa Christian School will:
- demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and
skills necessary to succeed in higher
education or career;
- model civil leadership through community
service;
- obtain knowledge of Biblical principles
for making personal decisions of faith;
- evidence verbal, written and
technological proficiency for effective
communication;
- integrate critical thinking, personal
convictions, and respect for cultural
diversity.
The Educational Program
The administrators and teachers of Santa Rosa
Christian School are committed to setting a
standard of educational excellence and
opportunity for students in kindergarten through
twelfth grade. Students are given the
foundations for life-long learning with an
emphasis on phonics for reading and writing,
mathematics, science and social studies.
Elementary students also develop an appreciation
for art and music and enjoy structured
competitive play in physical education.
As
students progress to the junior and senior high
school, they continue to build on the early
foundations with a wide range of college
preparatory classes including English,
higher-level mathematics, laboratory sciences,
in-depth history, and foreign language.
Students are challenged to think critically and
to become active evaluators of their education.
The core academics are supplemented with fine
arts, a competitive athletic program, and other
electives.
The on-going commitment of
Santa Rosa Christian School is to provide a
strong comprehensive educational program that
will prepare students with the knowledge and
skills to succeed in the college or career of
their choice.
