Barrett, Angela: High School Science
Angela has a Bachelors of Science in Health Science from Cal State University Chico and a California Teachers Credential from University of San Francisco. In 2009, Angela will complete her MA in Education.

Benedetti, Jennifer: High School English

Carrillo, R.C.: High School Worship Team, Christian Worldview
RC is a licensed minister, pastoring in Sonoma County for over 11 years. He serves on the leadership team of Pastor's Prayer and Ministry Alliance in Santa Rosa. He is passionate about worship, Christian music, missions and what God wants to do with the next generation. He is also involved in Broken FM radio.

Cooney, Ruth: High School Spanish, Middle School Math
Ruth has been teaching High School Spanish for five years.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish cum laude, with CA state credentials for K-12.  She also has a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership and teaches education courses at her Alma Mater, Pacific Union College.

Cooper, Jan: Third Grade
Jan Cooper has a B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in Education with History and English Majors from Muskingum College in Ohio.  She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northern Arizona University with a M.A. in Guidance and Counseling.  She has her K – 12 CA Teaching and Counseling Certificates and a CLAD certificate.  Jan began teaching at SRCS in 1989.  Her passion is: daily life long learning, exploring God’s universe, discovering, and developing each individual’s talents to God’s glory.

Dibley, Glenn: High School Math, High School Vice-Principal, High School Athletic Director
Glenn has been teaching for 11 years and pastored for 9 years. He has a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education from Australia (emphasis Math and PE) and a California Teachers Credential in Math. Glenn was ordained in 1999 and has a MA in Biblical Studies. In January 2010, Glenn was inducted into the Johns Hopkins University Fellowship for excellence in teaching.

Driedger, Patsy: First Grade
Patsy has taught for 32 years. This is her 16th year at Santa Rosa Christian. She teaches first grade and has also taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd and secondary English classes. She is passionate about teaching the Bible, classic literature and biology.

Fauss, Kristi: Middle School English, History, 6-9th grade counselor
Kristi Fauss joins middle school this year teaching primarily English for grades 6-8. Specializing in writing, Mrs.Fauss trained teachers with the South Bay writing project in connection with Long Beach State University where her credentials in Secondary English and Elementary Education were earned.. She attended Westmont College and has experience both stateside and abroad inspiring a variety of ages. Frau Fauss served with her husband and 3 children as missionaries to East Berlin years before teaching locally in public schools. Orange is her favorite color and "After the Chase" is a preferred music group.

Hall, Kimberly: Middle School History
Kimberly joined SRCS last year as director of children and summer camp. This year she will be joining the Middle School teaching staff. She has been teaching for 9 years in Sonoma County, Brazil and Ghana. She has a BA in World Missions and a California Teaching Credential from Simpson College.

Irvine, Barbara: Middle School and High School Art

Kainuma, Jan: High School Math, Middle School Math, and Middle School Science
Jan has been teaching at SRCS since 1989 although her entire teaching career spans 37 years. Jan has a BS in elementary Education with a minor in math from Oregon College of Education (now called Western Oregon University). She has a Masters in Education from United States International University, a CA teaching credential and ACSI credential.

Lanterman, Lenny: Middle School
Lenny is a graduate of Sonoma State University, December 2007. She has a BA in History and Spanish and is in the credentialling program at SSU this fall, graduating fall of 2010. Lenny's senior seminar paper in History is published online. When she graduates she will have credentials in History, Spanish and multiple subjects.

Longar, John: High School Science
John Longar High school Physics and Chemistry. His teaching career spans over 40 years. John has B.A. and M.A. degrees from San Francisco State University. NSF grant in Medical Physics from the University of California Berkeley. He also possesses a California General Secondary Credential,and ACSI Credential. John is also a Fellow of Johns Hopkins University.

Orth, Laura: Second Grade
Laura has taught for 7 years.  She has been teaching at SRCS for 3.5 years.  She has a degree in Liberal Studies and a teaching credential from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  She has previously taught Kindergarten. 

Moors, Bryant: High School, Middle School and Elementary PE

Paro, Julie: Fifth Grade
Julie has her BA in Elementary education from The Master’s College with a Professional Clear Teaching Credential. Julie has a supplement in Science and a minor in Bible studies.

Pierpoint, Carol: Kindergarten
Carol has been teaching for 31 years. She has been at SRCS for the last 8. Besides Kindergarten, Carol has taught first, third and fifth grades. Carol earned her BA in education at Bethel College in St Paul, MN.  She has several  college units beyond her degree and holds a CA teaching credential as well as an ACSI Certificate. 

Rilea, Nicole: ESL, Elementary Technology
Nicole holds her MA in Education (Curriculum and Instruction), a Professional Clear MS BCLAD teaching credential (Spanish/English) with a supplementary authorization in Spanish, and a BA in Spanish (International Affairs). She has taught all age groups in Spanish and English during her thirteen years experience of teaching and has been a volunteer Sunday school and children’s church teacher for the past 12 years. Nicole also teaches ESL with her Alma Mater, SRJC.

See, Beth: Fourth Grade
Beth is in her third year of teaching at SRCS, She graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Business Administration and Chapman University in the Teaching Credentials program.

Stone, Mark: High School and Middle School Christian Worldview, Middle School PE
Mark has been teaching at SRCS since 1999. During that time he has taught High School Christian Worldview and elementary PE. Mark's passion is Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord, and His living Word. He is stirred by continued growth in Christ, personally and corporately, and strives toward reality in Christ and truth on a practical, daily basis.

Skandera, Harry: High School History

Tembrock, Belinda: Fourth Grade
Belinda has been teaching for 6 years. She is a graduate of Sonoma State with a degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Linguistics. She earned her degree in Multiple Subjects from Dominican University and has her California Teachers Credential through Dominican.

Vander Sluis, Kate: High School Math, Librarian
Kates career in education spans nearly 20 years in both elementary and secondary grades. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University and received her credentials from Sacramento State University. Her degree is in Multiple Subjects with an arts/humanities emphasis. She holds a Professional Clear Multiple Subjects credential plus a supplementary authorization in English.

West, Rani: High School Math, Yearbook, ESL, Middle School Technology
Rani has a BA in Liberal Arts (emphasis Music) She graduated suma cum laude from SSU. Rani is also working towards a Bible degree.
